I first was checking out the Equus 3160 because it has Transmission codes, enhanced live data stream (enhanced live data is what I think it has over the slightly cheaper 3150 model) and ABS codes for some GM, Ford and Chrysler vehicles (wish it had more brands in the ABS though).īut not knowing much about these scanners yet (I learn very fast once I get something in hand- so I don't need simplicity in a scanner, but I don't want something frustrating to use either), I'm not sure if I will be loosing any features if I fork out the extra cash for the AutoXray? I am trying to decide should I fork out around $140 extra to purchase the AutoXray AX7000 rather than the Equus 3160 Innova scanner? First off if anyone has any other scanners/code readers in mind I should be looking at that can be bought at no more than these units, then please let me know.
